Heavy rainfall has saturated the ground, elevating the risk of landslides, and rivers and creeks are rising, especially in the northern panhandle. 

The warning says Juneau could see winds from 25-35 mph and gusts up to 60 mph until 3 a.m. Wednesday.

This week’s heavy rainfall broke daily rainfall records in Juneau, Ketchikan and Sitka.

 The biggest flooding concerns will be Monday night into Tuesday as rain continues.
